Who Am I?
I am a Computer Engineering Student working in Human Computer Interaction under Dr. Tracy Hammond. I have done my undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a minor in Electrical Engineering and a military degree from the Corp Of Cadets. I love to work hard in my hobby of Gardening and Engieering Projects. Though my true passion is in my research and my physical fitness.

Summary

Motivation:

We are currently living in a world where technology is advancing quickly. With these advancements, the tech world has been developing smaller and portable devices. These devices contain many sensors and hold large amounts of information. With this technology, there has been a grow in wearables in the industry (Apply watch, Pebble watch, and Fitbits). We can use this new forms of technology to develop workable systems that can help society. My research has been in wearables and how to recognize and help with the interactions and find new ways of using wearables.

Research Statement:

My Research is not specific to one subject. My work expands across multiple areas computer science, psychology, health. My primary research focus is achieving wearable technology within human computer interaction to improve user performance when performing health based activities. In this regard, I have developed navigation assistance, sensor recognition, and embedded system interaction to achieve accurate interactions.

Research Area:

wearables in human-computer interaction, education, machine learning, haptics, activity recognition, sketch recognition, wearables, cognitive agents, sensor systems, embedded systems
